About Sebastian ~ Wolfhound X (on trial 10/10/2017)
Everyone meet the handsome Sebastian! Sebastian is a 16 week old Wolfhound x puppy. He is a gentle giant who just wants to please.
Sebastian has not had a great start to life and can be very timid at times. He loves people and just
wants to play and have fun with his owner. Sebastian is a Wolfhound x with possibly Mastiff and he is going to be a large dog.
Sebastian is looking for a fun active family that will give him the love and time he deserves. While
Sebastian is going to be a large dog he is looking for a family that will allow him to be indoors as well as being outside. He currently sleeps inside and will only be looking for a family that are willing to continue that routine. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Sebastian is a beautiful pup with a big heart. He loves playing outside with his foster brother and
sisters, but sometime can get a little rough because of his size so he would only be suited to a family with larger children or larger dogs. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Sebastian would not be suited to a family that has smaller animals or pocket pets. He loves to play
with them and does not understand he can be to rough. Sebastian loves to have a play in the back yard or just cuddle up on the lounge or on your lap. He loves being around people and would be more suited to a family that is home more often than not.
As Sebastian is going to be a large dog he will only be suited to a family that have a decent back yard and are willing to take him for daily walks. He currently lives with his 3-other foster brother and sisters and is around younger children on a daily basis. While Sebastian is a gentle giant he is going to be a big dog and might be better suited to a family with older children.
Sebastian is learning to go to the toilet outside, but sometimes he does have accidents, as so will
need ongoing training and patience in this area. Sebastian is a loveable goofball who need lots of TLC and love. He would be a great addition to any family.
As Sebastian is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Sebastian, please contact his foster dad Jack on jacklowe2300@gmail.com. Sebastian is in Newcastle area, NSW.
Sebastian's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
