About Bruno *I'm Free to adopt!* (Cav17-88)
Beautiful boofy Bruno is looking for a new pad to crash in. He's a handsome bachelor just looking for love - his dream home is a quiet, mellow place with a gentle and patient family who will give him lots of time and space to become everything we know he can be. He longs for quiet nights in, watching movies on the couch.
Bruno has had an adventurous life but is ready to settle down. He comes all the way from an inner-city pound in Sydney where his time was up and he faced euthanasia but was saved in the nick of time by someone who flew him all the way to WA. Bruno has learned that he loves people, pats and fuss but it has taken him a lot of time. He's made heaps of progress in foster care but his amazing new family will need to understand that in a new home he will hide a lot in the beginning and need time to find his mojo again.
Once he finds it though, boy is it worth the wait! He's just so CUTE. Bruno makes adorable little chirps when he's happy and when he's enjoying a stroke and a bum-scratch he almost wiggles his tail like a happy little dog. Bruno doesn't like to be held or restrained (who does, really?) so his new family must know that he will never be a cuddly cat, rather he will be a smoocher and ankle-rubber. He's not suited to a home with children although he LOVES every other cat he meets and is okay around dogs.
Somewhere along the line Bruno found himself infected with FIV, feline immunodeficiency virus. He's clinically a very healthy cat and is expected to live a normal life-span of 15 years or more, assuming that his family keep him strictly indoors and keep him fit and healthy. He would love to live with your existing FIV positive feline, or could potentially live with a negative cat as he truly has not a mean bone in his body and FIV is spread through aggressive fighting.
If you can offer this dashingly-handsome lad a wonderful home, we would love to hear from you today. c
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
