About Freya - Special Needs - Deaf
Freya is super friendly with everyone she meets. She loves pats and attention. She is good with all dogs of all sizes but can get a little bit rough with the smaller ones as she forgets her size.
She is learning to walk on a lead and is making beautiful progress and is learning .basic hand signals for sit and down.
You will need a large yard with 1.8m (6 ft) fencing, please understand that being a sight hound and she is very much into scenting you will never be able to let her off lead anywhere other than your own secure yard.
She is a lovable goofball who is a bit uncoordinated and clumsy. Freya sleeps inside at night but is generally out in the yard during the day and being deaf is definitely not a barker.
She does not like to be tied up so if you were thinking of chaining her up or putting her on a runner please do not apply for her.
Having owned a wolfhound X for 9 years I can assure that they are the most wonderful, loyal, loving dogs and I would happily adopt Freya myself if I had a larger backyard.
Freya is located on the NSW Central Coast.
Medical notes
Freya is deaf
