Linizio

This girl is both sweet and fun all rolled into one!

Linizio is a little pocket rocket with a soft side. She is a very small and lean build (<5kg) and she can run! Zoomies are lots of fun and she is learning to fetch a ball now too. Linizio knows how to stop though. She is as sweet as pie with people and extremely affectionate. You need to be ready for the kisses that she dishes out and the way that she likes to lie across your chest. She loves to curl up on the lounge with you and snuggle the evenings away. Linizio is good with children though not particularly used to the real little ones. Pats, hugs, cuddles – she’ll take it all once you introduce yourself, or she introduces herself to you!

When Linizio meets her doggy match it’s on. She loves to play and chase and rumble with other active small breed dogs. Those big dogs are a bit scary though and she doesn’t like it if dogs catch her and are too rough as she’s only a little girl. She has been building up confidence with bigger dogs that she has met while in care and can get used to them if they are gentle and friendly. Linizio is relatively active and will require playtime and daily exercise to ensure that she remains happy and healthy throughout her life.

During her time in care, Linizio has begun to catch up on some basic training. She has learnt to walk on a lead – which didn’t take long when she worked out that walkies were lots of fun; and she can sit and do a short stay. She is willing to learn but is probably more suited to an experienced dog family who can continue her training. Linizio is crate trained and knows to use puppy pads in the house if she can’t get outside. She loves to ride shotgun in the car and enjoys going out places with you.

We are looking for a home where Linizio will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. She will require a home with another friendly and playful small breed dog. Linizio should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. If you are interested in dog sports like agility or flyball she would definitely be a contender. Bottom line is though she will love her family and deserves to get lots of love and affection back.
