About Sophia **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Sophia is a very smoochy girl, who loves to climb on people, but, as befitting any self-respecting cat, only when she is in the mood for it. When she's had enough she'll let you know with a hiss and a (nailless) swipe, so she would not suit a home with children.
She is fine with other cats, as long as they don't try to eat her food... We are not sure how she is with dogs. She doesn't like her foster mum's puppy, but he is very in your face, which most cats don't appreciate.
Sophia has medium-long hair and would need to be brushed a few times a week.
When she came into the rescue we thought that Sophia was pregnant, but luckily it turned out that she wasn't. It's just as well that people thought she was though, otherwise they might not have contacted us and she might still be roaming the streets. Now that Sophia's has settled it is high time for her to find her forever home.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Please send an e-mail to: 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
2. You will be e-mailed our Adoption Questionnaire
3. Complete the Adoption Questionnaire and send (e-mail) back to us.
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
