About Zip ~ Cattle dog x Kelpie (on trial 25/11/17)
Zip is a beautiful 7 month old, female, kelpie X cattle dog full of love and puppy enthusiasm. She loves chasing a ball or anything that moves, going for walks and splashing about in water. She enjoys life to the max.
Zip gets along very well with other dogs. She can be a bit nervous at first but soon makes friends. She also loves the company of people!
Zip will sit when asked but hasn't had the benefit of any other early training so she needs someone that will be patient and take the time to take her to a training class or do some at-home instruction. Typical cattle dog, she is interested in fast cars zooming past so just needs to be taught to focus on her handler. She's a fast learner and eager to please. Our volunteers trainers will be happy to advise you.
Zip is a gorgeous young girl full of potential. She adores people and will be a loving companion.
For more information or to meet Zip, please contact Chloe by email sra2108@hotmail.com. Zip is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Zip's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
