About Trixie ~ Foxy X (on trial 15/10/17)
Trixie is a 11 year young fox terrier, black and white in color. She likes nothing more than snuggling up next to her owner.
Trixie she is very much an inside dog, toilet trained and a lap dog. She likes laying out in the sun & doesn't mind having a friend to share her day with. She loves walks and is no trouble on her lead.
Trixie hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets, so we are unsure how she will react. Trixie will settle down at night in her bed or on your bed with you. She would suit an older couple or a family with older children.
Trixie has lots of love to offer to anybody who is willing to care for her in her twilight years Trixie.
For more information or to meet Trixie, please contact Amanda on 0401437071 or email anne4drn@gmail.com. Trixie is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Trixie's adoption fee is $150 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
