About Maxie ~ Maltese X (on trial 13/10/2017)
Meet the Amazing Maxie. This 5 year old 6kg Maltese X is a real live super action hero dude. The Amazing Maxie can jump into your standing arms in a single move. The Amazing Maxie loves giving lots of kisses and his tongue is lightening fast. The Amazing Maxie will survey his domain from the top of the highest lounge back. And bed or lap warming is another speciality of the Amazing Maxie.
The Amazing Maxie is a lover not a fighter, a very happy babe, great with kids and dogs & cats. He is toilet trained and walks well on a lead. Maxie is a quiet and healthy dude, rarely barks and enjoys a bone. Maxie will be your shadow, with you wherever you are, ready to jump on your lap even if you are using a loo. Maxie’s soft fine wavy coat will need regular grooming.
This super action boy would love a home with someone home often & wouldn't say no to a furry pal.
Have you got room for a super hero in your life?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
