Tigger is a very friendly and happy boy. He is very cuddly and loves to sit on your lap, he just loves. being around people. He weighs roughly about 11kg so is the perfect size for cuddles!
Tigger gets along well with other small to medium sized dogs, he is currently living with a male Cavalier however he would be very happy to have all the attention to himself.
He is toilet trained and can use the doggy door. He would love to live with a retired couple or person who can take him for daily walks and include him inside with the family. Tigger would do best with someone who is home often as he just loves his people so much.
Medical notes
Tigger has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccinated
~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested
~ Heartworm Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Tigger had Cutaneous haemangiosarcomas which were surgically removed at time of desexing.Cutaneous hemangiomas are benign growths that originate from endothelial cells (cells found in blood vessels) located in the skin and/or subcutaneous tissues. Subcutaneous hemangiomas are generally larger than skin hemangiomas. In addition, subcutaneous hemangiomas are typically elevated, partially hairless and blue in color. Skin hemangiomas appear as a small dome with a reddish-black tint. These may redevelop over time and may need to be removed.
Tigger has non-pigmented skin which means he is more susceptible to sunburn so will need to be a mostly inside pet.
Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
