Porter - cat friendly

Hi! I'm Porter, and I'm an easy going 10 month old male Staffy x..

I love going for walks around the neighbourhood and around parks. I'm really good on the lead and am a good listener when you talk to me. I could use some more lead training because I am not quite at the loose lead stage, but I'm no puller either!

I have excellent manners and can sit, stay, and leave it if you ask me to. I am really easy to train and would love you to teach me some more things!

My foster family doesn't have another dog for me to be friends with but I love meeting new dogs at the park. If you had another dog I reckon we'd get on just fine, and if not, that's ok, but I really do enjoy socialising so we'd have to do some of that on our walks!

I have been in foster care with a cat and I don't mind that at all. In fact, I pay no attention to her and we live together really well. I haven't met any children since I've been in care but I'm pretty a pretty gentle guy so I think I'd be ok with them.

At night I can sleep in a crate if you want me to and I won't whine or bark. I am used to a morning and evening walk, sometimes even a midday one, and I can hold on until I get outside to use the toilet.

I'm good in the car too and love going on adventures to cafes or parks!

When I came in to care I had a small cut on my paw but the vet gave me some antibiotics and it's getting better every day. I do like to play up to the fact I have a sore paw though to see if I can get extra love and cuddles!
