About Thea
All Thea wants is to love and be loved. She is looking for the simple things in life. Someone who is willing to pat her at every available moment. Someone who will let her follow them around dotingly while they do their humany stuff and someone to ensure that her tummy is full. She is a BIG bouncy girl who is still working out the idea of personal space and whose tail is a force to be reckoned with as she has a wag like no other.
Thea loves being with her foster humans and follows wherever they go. She doesn’t miss a anything! Adjusting to house living and toileting has only taking a short while for this clever young lady. She is friendly, makes quirky grunts when relaxing and walks relatively well on a lead. This young lady requires some more basic training but is willing to learn and is happy to please.
Thea is currently living with three foster sisters, two rescue dogs and one grumpy old cat and she has fitted in well with all of them.
Thea is a big dog, at the moment she is all legs and is yet to fill out into her adult body. She is very strong, and for this reason she will require plenty of space and daily physical exercise from her new furever home. If you are looking for a young dog who will love you as much as you love her, then Thea will tick all the boxes. Thea is located in Palmwoods, QLD.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
