About Bear ~ Belgian Shepherd X (on trial 29/9/2017)
Meet Bear A.K.A. Mr Fluffy Bear! This handsome guy is a 7 year old Belgian Shepherd X who is the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet.
Bear loves human interaction very much. He is sweet natured and loving and always keen for a pat! A great family dog and terrific with children of all ages; previously lived with several young children and he isn't a jumper.
Bear is toilet trained and very dog friendly. He also travels really well in a car and enjoys going for rides and exploring new areas.
Being a big boy, Bear is quite strong on the lead but he is a very smart dog so with a little bit of positive reinforcement his new family will train him in no time.
If you want to save on heating when the cool winter months are back Bear could be your perfect heater. He will however require regular grooming.
For more information or to meet Bear, please contact Lauren via email on hitthesand@hotmail.com. Bear is in foster care in Clarence Town area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bear’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Medical notes
Happy and healthy dog.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
