Butternut

Rescued from Mildura Pound, this girl has BLOSSOMED in her foster home (as well as adjusted to the cooler Melbourne weather).

Butternut is currently living with a male Boxer x and female Staffy x and when she has tired them out, she will happily play on her own.

She is eager to learn, eager to please and will do anything for a belly rub. In two weeks, she has already mastered the laundry door so she can visit the Little Girls’ Room outside (in comparison, our Boxer x took several months to figure this out…). She will sit for treats, is excellent on the leash and has no problems on car rides as she goes to sleep as soon as we leave the driveway.

The pound described her as a Boxer x, the vet says Boxer x Staffy. We think Boxer ears, German Shepherd tail with Staffy and possibly Ridgeback? No matter what she is, she has a huge heart and is a sweetheart.

We think she would be an amazing addition to any family and we look forward to receiving your application.
