About Peppi
Hi my name is Peppi and I am a Kelpie cross. I got lost after I wandered away from my home and I think I got hit by a car because my back leg was broken, I can't remember, all I know is that a kind person found me and took me to the vet. The vet contacted Caboolture Animal Welfare because I did not have a microchip so no one knew who owned me or where I lived. The vet said that the break was that bad my leg had to be amputated or they would have to put me down. Luckily the caring people at Caboolture Animal Welfare said they would cover the cost of the amputation.
I am now nearly all better and up and running around. The vet said because I'm young I will have a normal and active life, just won't be able to stand up and walk on two back legs!
I love people and get on well with cats and other dogs. I really enjoy to play and look forward to joining a caring family, I also like to play with children.
Adoption details
All of our animals are living with our amazing foster carers in loving home environments.
If you would like to meet one of our furbabies please contact the carer on the info page of the pet your are interested in. You can visit them at their carers home.
All of our animals are fulled vaccinated, microchipped and DESEXED. No animal is rehomed till these animals have been through our medical and behavioural assessments.
Adoption is a two way process and if you and the animal agree you both want to live together, then the paperwork can be processed and rehoming can take place.
We do complete a two week trial period in most cases.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
