About Nash
Nash arrived into care at the age of 6 weeks along with his 6 litter mates. He's a super sweet puppy who is playful, adventurous and great with kids. He's fantastic with other dogs (big and small) and also fine with cats also. Nash is doing really well with his crate training and sleeps both inside and outside with his brothers, Bandit and Ralph.
This handsome little man enjoys playing with lots of toys....whether it be tennis balls, squeaky toys, sticks or leaves and with the teething stage starting, he will need lots of chew toys and bones to keep him safely occupied during this time. His foster mum is doing some basic training with Nash and he's currently learning the 'sit' command.
He would suit a home with or without another dog, as long as he was made to feel a part of the family. If he was to be an only dog, he would need continued socialisation with other dogs during his puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered, socialised young man.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Nash is yet to have his vet work done but we are happy to organise meets in the meantime, and secure an adoption with a non refundable deposit so that he can head off to his new home once his vet work is done.
