About McGregor
Gorgeous little McGregor arrived into care at the age of 6 weeks along with his 6 litter mates. He's a super sweet puppy who is curious, adventurous and loves to smother you with kisses.
This little guy is fantastic with other dogs and has been exposed to cats in his foster home (which he likes to playfully chase). He is more dependant on having company than his sister Khaleesi, so would suit a home where he had a companion dog or company most of the time. McGregor is crate trained with toilet training almost perfected.
Whilst in care, his foster mum has been introducing McGregor to the lead and although this is a work in progress, with ongoing training, he will be walking fantastic on lead by the time he's safely allowed to explore the big wide world.
McGregor enjoys playing with just about anything he can find....whether it be empty toilet rolls, tennis balls, squeaky toys, sticks or leaves and with the teething stage starting, he will need lots of chew toys and bones to keep him safely occupied during this time.
He would suit a home with or without another dog, as long as he was made to feel a part of the family. If he was to be an only dog, he would need continued socialisation with other dogs during his puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered, socialised young man.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
McGregor has had all his vet work done and already experienced his first photo shoot! He's now ready to meet his new family and move in.
