About Arya
Arya arrived into care at the age of 6 weeks along with her 6 litter mates. She's a fearless little explorer who is playful, adventurous and LOVES to talk back to everyone. She's currently in care with her sister, Arwen and 6 host dogs of all sizes, who she absolutely adores. Arya is fully crate trained and sleeps both inside and outside with her sister.
Arya enjoys playing with her toys and spends her days exploring, playing, and of course napping. She does enjoy playing with the other dogs and would benefit from having an older dog to guide her in her forever home. Arya is extremely food motivated, so training has been a great success, with the 'sit' command almost perfected.
This cheeky girl will keep you entertained for hours and would suit a home with or without another dog, as long as she was made to feel a part of the family. If she was to be an only dog, she would need continued socialisation with other dogs during her puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered, socialised young lady.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Arya is yet to have her vet work done but we are happy to organise meets in the meantime, and secure an adoption with a non refundable deposit so that she can head off to her new home once her vet work is done.
