Spike **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**

**Special Needs kitten**
Spike is a very special kitten in many ways, all of them positive except perhaps one: he is deaf, with that it entails. This doesn't have to effect his life in a major way, but he will need to be an indoor cat (although he would obviously appreciate an enclosure, so he could still enjoy fresh air, sunshine and all sort of interesting smells). Spike will need to be approached differently than hearing kittens, especially when he's asleep, so a home without very small children would be best for him.
He lives in his own little world, probably as a result of his deafness. He doens't play with the other kittens, but when they are in the mood, he will play with the adult cats.
So far Spike hasn't learnt to retract his claws, so he would be best suited tio a household without children, or a household with older children, who understand that he's not being mean if he accidentally scratches them.
His new family will have to spend a lot of time with him and they will also need to learn basic sign language.
Spike is full of life, he is a cheeky, playful little tom. He has the cutest little face, which he uses to its full advantage when he wants food or a cuddle. And let's be honest, who could possibly say no to this adorable little kitten?
There is no doubt that Spike would brighten up the life of the person(s) who adopt him.
