About Bianco *On Trial in His New Home*
*BIANCO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* They supersized the love when they made this big, beautiful boy! Bianco, meaning white in Italian, is a handsome, friendly-natured dog who is looking for that special someone who understands and has experience with the Maremma breed; will it be with you?
Unfortunately no fencing means that Bianco likes to roam and find the company of the itinerate workers in the neighbouring grape vines, and keeping him on a chain just isn’t an option as it’s no life for a dog, so his owner has decided that Bianco deserves a forever home with either good fencing yet still room to run or on a more isolated property where he won’t be tempted into wandering off. And as Maremma’s are bred to guard livestock perhaps there’ll be some sheep or even chickens that he could be the protector of.
Gorgeous Bianco just wants to please his humans and he’s described as a bright boy who listens – he knows “sit”, “drop”, will wait for his food, and takes treats ever so gently. He also knows his name and has fairly good recall if he’s not too distracted when released from his chain. Bianco likes going for walks though beware he is strong on a lead so perhaps a Gentle Leader or Easy Walk harness would help with this. He’s great with other dogs tending to be quite playful. And he loves children (his owners’ grandkids have nicknamed him ‘Teddy”!) though, as he does tend to jump up when excited, more robust, school-aged children would suit Bianco best as he may accidentally bowl the little ones over.
This affectionate, young dog enjoys a pat and a cuddle and will roll over at any opportunity for a much-loved belly rub! He loves playing with doggie toys and at only 12 months of age he can be quite puppyish and silly when he does! He’s an outside only dog though we suspect he wouldn’t mind coming inside on the odd occasion if he was allowed.
Bianco enjoys a diet of good quality dry food, dog roll, bones and table scraps and is fed morning and night.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
