About Jax
Introducing gorgeous Jax! A lovable goofball, Jax is a 1 year old Great Dane x Staghound who is ready and waiting to spread his love through his new family home.
Jax loves to play and to make friends with dogs of all shapes and sizes - he gets along great with them all! At times, he can forget his size whilst playing, and if he is to be rehomed with another dog, it would be best if that dog also enjoyed all the fun of being a goofball. Jax is not a fan of cats and should not be rehomed with them.
Whilst Jax loves to be out and about showing off his good looks, he is still learning his lead manners and can at times pull quite strongly. We have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee to help with this. We believe that once settled in a family home and with his training, this pulling will be easy to fix.
Although Jax was a little startled by loud noises, he settles very quickly. We would however recommend that he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe. Jax shows no signs of food aggression (or any other sort of aggression) and does not suffer from seperation anxiety.
He is a very loving boy who loves a cuddle and belly rub whenever he can get the chance. Whilst not overly interested in toys, he loves to be in the company of his human friends as well as his doggy friends and ready to play whenever you are!
This gorgeous guy is a very special boy and he so deserves a very special home, where he can be made to feel part of the family and to be involved in the day to day activities. With continued training and once settled into family life, Jax will be a spectacular addition to any family and will be a super loyal companion.
Jax's adoption fee is $375 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Jax is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
