About Harper ~ Mastiff X (on trial 14/10/2017)
Introducing Harper! A 3 year old Mastiff X with so much love to give. She is such a sweet girl with a beautiful affectionate nature; she loves people, loves cuddles and is just a big sook!
Harper likes to sunbake and is happy to be out in the backyard during the day. She likes to come inside at night to spend time with her family. She loves to lay at your feet or on her bed, and will stand at the back door if she needs to go outside, she hasn’t had any accidents since being in foster care.
Harper is not overly active, she does enjoy a gentle walk and is happy just to be around people. She gets on well with other dogs and will have a bit of a play with them when she’s in the mood but usually she prefers the company of people. She loves a cuddle and will often climb up on your lap and bury her head in.
Harper is in foster care with 2 Rottweilers who she gets on well with, she has only barked once or twice since being in foster care, and doesn’t join in when her foster brother and sister bark.
Harper will benefit from some additional training, she is eager to please and very food motivated, which makes training easier. She has already come a long way since being in foster care, but sometimes forgets her manners and will jump up on people for a cuddle.
Harper would suit a home where she gets lots of affection from her family. If you think you could offer Harper a loving, caring and happy forever home, please contact his foster carer Amanda by email amandalloyd83@hotmail.com. Harper is located in Charlestown, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Harper's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
