About Marley ~ Border Collie X (on trial 23/9/2017)
Meet Marley, a 1 year old female Border Collie x. Marley is a very friendly, loving dog with a huge heart. As a Border Collie, Marley is very clever and learns new things quickly. She has a beautiful brown and white medium coat and weighs 23kgs.
Marley is energetic and easily excitable but settles down quickly. She's good with adults, children and other dogs. While Marley is a very friendly dog she does get easily jealous and doesn't like it when you pat other dogs while she's around so would best suited to a home with no other dogs.
On walks Marley stays within view and is very obedient. She comes when called most of the time and sits when asked to. Marley doesn't have any interest in ropes, balls or other dog toys but instead loves a good belly rub.
Marley does initially take some time to warm up to people but in time will fall in love with you, just like you will with her.
For more information or to meet Marley, please contact Theo on email theokolos@gmail.com. Marley is in foster care in Thornton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Marley's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
