About Sue
Sue came to us after being left behind by her owner with no food or water. She was just a tiny puppy and it took a little while to get some weight back onto her. She is growing fine now and has a wonderful loving and playful nature. Sue would be Ok with a grownup family and another dog but not cats. She is used to sleeping outside and is not house trained. She is a mixture of breeds but will probably be a larger dog. She will need a dedicated owner who will take her to training and walks and a romp in the park once she learns to return. Sue will need a yard with good fences and lots of attention. Sue has some food guarding issues, not surprising given her poor start in this world. The up side of course is that she is food motivated which is a bonus for training. She looks to have some border collie and some kelpie in her breeding but we can't be sure.,
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
