About Cedar
Cedar is the biggest pup in the litter and there is no getting away from the fact that he will be only slightly smaller than a greyhound when fully grown. He has the biggest feet and we cannot be completely sure of his breeding except to say that his mother, who was abandoned at the vet, is a whippet. He has a very regal profile and a strong character and would be the dominant dog in any group situation although he is not aggressive. He loves his food and is always the first to finish. He is a fast runner but can be a little clumsy at times. He was an inside dog in his early life but has more recently been living outside. He is not house trained but is quiet and would be eager to learn if it meant he could spend more time with you. He loves a chewy pigs ear treat and would be a great family dog.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
