About Cookies ~ On Trial 21/10/17
Meet Cookies a 2 year old Pomeranian x Chihuahua who is friendly, very social and a little shmoocher. Cookies enjoys meeting new people and will say hi to anyone who will give him pats and play with him. He enjoys cuddles and giving you kisses.
Cookies is a very smart and good looking young chap with a short and easy care coat and a curly Pom tail that he loves to wag. He has a willingness to listen and learn so he would benefit from some puppy training classes.
Cookies is a small sized boy at 4.5kg. He is in foster care with 10 other dogs and he gets on well with most of them. He is an easy going and playful boy who would do well being matched with another playful small dog of roughly his own age and either his size or slightly bigger.
He must go to a home with an existing dog .
Cookies is an inside boy who loves being with his family and must sleep inside. He would love a small, safe yard to run around in and to snooze in the sun. Due to his tiny size he will need solid fencing with no gaps at all as he has been known to try to slip under the gate. He does love being on your lap but being such a young and energetic boy he will need an active family who will enjoy daily walks with him and taking him on outdoor adventures. Although he will be friendly with children he is best suited to a family with kids older than 12 years due to his tiny size.
For more information or to meet Cookies, please contact Jo on email jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. Cookies is in foster care in Morriset, NSW (Cental Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Cookies adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
