About Ruby
Just like her name suggests, Ruby is a real gem. She's a friendly, affectionate girl who loves people, is good with kids and gets on well with other dogs. She also gets on just fine with cats, as she has lived with 5 feline friends! (Chickens, however, are a no-go as they are just waay to fun to chase!)
Did we happen to mention how darn gorgeous she is??
Ruby needs an amazing human (you're amazing, right?) who wants a dog who will be truly part of the family and who loves to really spend time with their dog. Looking for a new running partner? Ruby's for you. Enjoy taking your dog on outings to the beach and the park? This is your girl. Interested in buying a bunch of enrichment toys and creating a stimulating environment in your backyard? Your search is over!
Like any good working dog, Ruby loves to be DOING. Sitting around is for losers, dontcha know??
She's a smart, switched on pup with loads of energy and a quick, intelligent mind. Dog agility, dancing with dogs, tracking or any other dog-sport would suit this sweetheart down to the ground so if you really want to make dog ownership into a hobby then we can recommend places that would be perfect for both of you.
Ruby would be happy living with another dog (pending a meet and appropriate introduction) and this would definitely fulfil some of her needs, but don't think that popping her in the yard with your other canine companion is going to be everything that she requires to be happy.
Ruby has endless love to give. She is an amazing companion who may take a little time to warm to you but will be a devoted companion and best friend for anyone lucky enough to take her into their life. Her glowing red coat calls to mind a sunset over the red-dirt country of outback Australia.
Ruby is waiting - come and meet her today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
