Who is a cute boy?! Vivalto!

This pup will be your ultimate companion dog as he loves people and forms strong bonds. Vivalto is one that will want to go everywhere with you – in the car, off on a walk, and follow you around the house and yard. He is calm, friendly and confident meeting and greeting new people, and is happy to be a lap dog so that he can absorb all the attention. Vivalto is also playful and curious in nature and he thoroughly enjoys having a chew on a hard plastic bone or chew toy. This charismatic character is learning the art of playing fetch and thoroughly enjoys chasing his ball.

During his time in care, Vivalto has been socialised with a wide range of dogs. He is confident with dogs closer to his size and enjoys playtime with other small breed dogs. The big dogs can be a bit intimidating for this little guy. Vivalto likes chasing and wrestling games, particularly with his active small breed friends. Like any puppy, this one will require ongoing socialisation to ensure that he remains friendly with all. Vivalto is moderately active and will require daily walks and will benefit from trips to dog friendly parks/beaches where he can run around playing with new friends.

Vivalto has begun basic training and knows how to sit, and will drop for a yummy treat. He is food motivated and willing to please which makes for successful training. He is also good at staying with you at the off-lead dog park and is learning good recall. It is important that his new owners are committed to continuing his training as he is still young and has more to learn in life. Vivalto is toilet trained and crate trained as well.

We are looking for a home where Vivalto will be included in the daily activities. He must have another friendly and playful small breed dog to be friends with at home, and he will also require a home where someone is home most of the time as well. Vivalto is best suited to experienced dog people who are committed to continuing his training and socialisation. He will need to be allowed inside to be with his family and will require a warm bed inside to sleep on at night.
