About Alexis
NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE. ALEXIS HAS BEEN ADOPTED.
Alexis is looking for her forever home where she has a companion to play with. She is a gorgeous purebred miniature poodle, only 4 months old, cream and apricot in colour.
She will need very good, securing fencing (colourbond preferably) with a yard in which she can run around and play in. Poodles are very active dogs and love their exercise. They need regular grooming (every 8-10 weeks ) to keep their coat pristine and healthy, with particular emphasis placed on the face, feet, ears and bottom.
We would prefer Alexis to go to someone who has poodle experience - they are very loyal to their owners and do not like to be separated from them for long periods. They must live inside the house and be included as part of the family - they have a lifespan of around 17 years - are very intelligent, can be stubborn when they want to be.
Alexis is still growing and should stand at around 14" - 16" when fully grown. She's an excitable little girl at the moment, loves playing with her toys and doggy friends, getting into mischief and chewing everything she can get her teeth into - a typical puppy! Her favourite past time is splashing around in the fish pond and terrifying the fish!
Alexis is ready to go to her new home now and MDR is now accepting applications to adopt this sweet and amusing pup. In the first instance, please apply through Pet Rescue. Alexis will be placed in the home that we consider the most suitable for the life she has ahead of her. She is a very special little girl and deserves the best!!

.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
