Damon

"Everyone, meet Damon - a 9 month old German Shepherd cross. This gorgeous boy is honestly such a dude, he's very friendly and loves cuddles and attention. He is an energetic boy who loves to run, so would suit an active home with a medium to large backyard, daily walks and lots of opportunities for mind stimulation.

He loves to be inside, but not completely house trained yet, which wouldn't take much at all. He is good outside too. I have found he doesn't cry or bark when left alone and isn't overly destructive - when he is bored he does like to go through everything he can shove his inquisitive nose into and rearrange your belongings, but he isn't a chewer.

He knows how to sit and lay down. Mostly comes when called. He walks decently on a lead, but is strong when he decides to pull. He sometimes likes to jump up to say hello when he sees you. He would benefit from more training in all these areas in his new home, as he is still young and learning! He is very food motivated and won't be difficult to train.

He's great with other dogs his own size or bigger, loves a good play wrestle and game of chasies, but unsure on what's he's like with small dogs as he has not had a chance to meet any whilst in my care. He can only go to a home with no cats as he likes to chase them. Unsure what he is like with small children.

Damon would make an awesome partner in crime for somebody wanting a loyal, loving companion to take on the world with.
