Ulan

What a beautiful girl!

Ulan is simply adorable in every way. She has those beautiful floppy ears, shiny black coat, cute white markings and soulful puppy dog eyes. Ulan just draws everyone in! She is such a lovely natured girl as well – happy and playful just like a puppy should be. Ulan greets everyone with a waggy tail and a few kisses, even all the kids down the park who love to have her sit in their lap for cuddles. She can be found snoozing the evening away on the couch with her carer and snuggle time is enjoyed by all. Ulan likes to play with toys and will happily follow her carer around the house and yard.

During her time in care, Ulan has been well socialised with a range of dogs. She is in care with a number of other puppies and dogs of all shapes and sizes, and she gets along well with them all. Ulan enjoys playing and wrestling with the other puppies. All puppies need continued socialisation and Ulan is no exception, so regular trips to dog parks/beaches and play dates with nice doggy friends are a must. She will be a moderately active dog and will require daily exercise to keep her healthy and happy throughout her life.

Ulan is showing us what a well behaved little girl she can be. She has begun basic training and knows how to walk on a lead, sit for a treat, and is now learning stay and to come when she is called. She is food motivated and willing to please so is good to train. It is very important that her new family are committed to continuing her training as she is still a baby and has much more to learn as she grows up. She has started her toilet training but this will need to continue in her new home, and she travels well in the car.

We are looking for a home where Ulan will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require a home where there is another playful and friendly dog to keep her company, or she would be suited to someone home pretty much all the time or who can take her to work. Ulan is not suited to being left alone for significant periods of time by herself. She loves kids but still puppy bites and jumps so is best suited to slightly older kids or those who are more dog savvy. Ulan should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
