Possum

Possum is a little pocket rocket looking for a loving forever family that can keep up with her. She is an extremely excitable and very playful puppy with a very sweet snuggle pot side to her personality.

Possum came into our care with only little guidance, so we are currently woking on her toilet training and basic obedience. Therefore, Possum is looking for a family that is willing and able to continue to offer time and patience with some coaching.
Being an absolute toy fanatic, Possums perfect forever family would have plenty of toys to keep her entertained, and in turn would keep her family members also entertained for hours while she throws the toys around the room. She also loves a tennis ball, but isn't always so good at bringing the ball back to you…
Possum has not spent much time on the end of a lead, so it’s a bit foreign to her at this point. But she would love to work on getting a bit more comfortable with a lead so she can get out to explore and expend some of her energy.
When she has finally had enough of play time, Possum just loves to snuggle up on the couch with you and have a snooze for a while. She burrows under the blankets or snuggles right up into you're body to keep warm.
She is happy spending time inside or out, but definitely prefers to be involved in whatever you are doing. She does currently sleep outside with a jacket on to keep her warm.

Possum would be happy with a doggy friend to play with, or would be happy being an only dog.
She would be best suited to older children, as she jumps up a lot being a small excitable dog.

Possum is looking for a warm and accepting forever home to bring out the best in her so she can bring happiness and companionship to all of her family members.
