You better go grab a cuppa, because I have a bit of a story to tell you all.

Alright let's not beat around the bush, I know I am the most adorable dog that you have ever seen! Yes, you can keep telling me though because I will never get sick of hearing it. I seem to have won the hearts of all the staff and volunteers at Blue Cross. I think it's my eyes? The are so big and brown, and all I have to do is give a 'look' and then I have the staff on their hands and knees cuddling me non stop!

Despite my good looks, there are a few other things I should tell you about. I am a young puppy, but not only that, I was born with a medical condition which will impact me for the rest of my life. The vet told me that I have Cerebellar Hypoplasmia. This is a congenital disorder of part of the brain (the cerebellum) which causes the cerebellum to not be fully matured at birth. The cerebellum is the part of the brain responsible for coordination, balance and depth perception. It can be genetic or also caused by illness in the mother dog.

Because of this illness, I sometimes look a bit goofy and my back legs seem to have a mind of their own. My vision is also not the best, but the Vet said that they don't make glasses for dogs, however he also said that there is no reason I can't live a happy and healthy life with the perfect family! I will need to ideally go home with another dog that could become my companion and guide dog, and help me throughout my daily adventures. I am not suitable to a home with children, and will need a quiet and relaxed household where I can sleep inside.
