About Willow (AV987)
Hey there, I'm Willow! Aren't I pretty... pretty awesome!
I was adopted when I was a puppy (you can see my super cute puppy photos) but unfortunately my family's situation has changed a bit and they're no longer able to keep me. SAD FACE :(
They've loved me lots so now I'm in the market for another home where I will be treasured and loved as part of the family. I'm only 7 months old so I'm just a baby and I am looking for a family who has plenty of time and a strong desire to spend lots of time training me. I'm generally social with other dogs I meet though I often find them scary at first (even if they're a lot smaller than me). It's essential that you take me to some group training classes so that I can meet other dogs in a friendly and structured environment and learn how great they can be.
At this stage I need to be the only dog in the home, but with the right training I would be happy to have a friend down the track. I am sharp as a tack and keen to learn so you need to have some time to teach me and really invest in me now so that I can realise my full potential and become a truly amazing member of your family.
I'm already a BIG girl and like any puppy I'm active, bouncy and full of life. A little while ago I did a crazy kamikaze leap over the back of the couch and fractured my front leg! It's healing well but still a little sore. All large breeds take a long time to fully physically mature because our skeletons have more growing to do than, say, a chihuahua. So whilst I love to exercise and go for walks, they need to be sensible at the moment. Swimming at the beach is great too!
I have been around kids and I love them. I'm not at all aggressive but because of my size, kids need to be sensible and know how to interact with large dogs. When I was a very small puppy I lived with a cat - that was a long time ago so if you have feline family members, I'll just need a calm and sensible introduction to them please.
I'm a truly lovely girl who will be a magnificent dog. Can you give me all the love and time I deserve (and receive my undying loyalty in return?)
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
