Huey ~ Cattle dog x puppy (Trial 8/10/17)

Huey is a 10 week old, male, Cattle X puppy.

You know what they say about puppies with big ears? Big ears, big heart! Huey is a gorgeous puppy who just loves everyone. He is currently at a foster home with 1 other foster puppy and 3 other dogs of all shapes and sizes, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 10 and Huey loves us all. He enjoys spending his time outside during the day playing with his 4 four legged mates and loves coming inside at night to snuggle up with his foster sister Izzy (who is also up for adoption) or snuggled on a bean bag with one of the kids. Being a cattle type breed Huey would be best suited to an active home.

Huey will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Huey. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

Huey needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

As Huey is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
