Hi my name is Roger and my carer says that I’m a gentle giant. I really am a sweet, sweet boy – I love a good old rub, especially my belly and just love getting a back scratch.
I really do like my human and sometimes if I can’t see her will sing a really sweet purring sound while I try to find her and to let her know I’m there – she thinks it’s really cute. I follow her around sometimes as I just like the company. You see I’m an affectionate boy and love to cuddle up to my carer especially on the couch in the evening.

I’m pretty chilled most of the time and quite content to share my space with another feline. My housemate at the moment is a female cat – she’s actually rather nice and although we don’t spend loads of time together we do quite like to play sometimes. I definitely prefer her to the tom cat next door – I think in my next home I could either be the only cat or live with a nice furry girl.

My perfect home would be a quieter one – with maybe one or two people so that I can feel nice and comfortable. I do find that unexpected sounds or strokes can make me a little jumpy, but once I know you well and feel at home I can just put my paws up and relax.
