Daisy is a very sweet, loving and loyal girl who would love an inside home with a yard to explore. Daisy loves to be spoilt. She loves to be with her humans and just sitting loyally at your feet.
She does get separation anxiety and gets very fretful, whimpering and panting and very clingy when left alone. She will try to reach her humans by any manner she can. We are working on this with some natural hormone therapy, she would prefer a family who is home often as she frets.
Her foster carer is currently working on her resource guarding issues with other animals.
Daisy does growl at other animals and can sound very fierce, however as she settles into her new home this does decrease significantly.
Daisy is trained to sit and walks well on the harness and lead. Daisy loves long walks daily and loves to go for car rides. Daisy does react strongly when walking to other dogs and birds - pulling very strongly, growling persistently and does need guidance to help this. Daisy responds well to her name and comes when called.
Daisy would suit a family with older children. Daisy can growl and be snappy at other animals in the house.
Daisy would best suit a family with older children who give her her space and preferably a home with none or only one other small dog.

Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
