Bert

7 years ago Bert and Ernie were found together as 6-week-old kittens. They were adopted as a pair to keep them together, because like the real Bert and Ernie they are roomies for life.

These two boys are much loved members of a family, but due to ill health of their owner, Bert and Ernie need to find a new family to smooch with.

While they do enjoy their independence through the day, they enjoy spending time with their family and curling up on the couch in the evening.
They love each other’s company and will often sleep curled together and groom each other.

Bert (black and white) is a real snuggler and loves being around people. Evenings are his time to shine, he will want to sit right against you. He loves to climb and wants to be involved in everything you do. He is a bit of a greedy guts and would eat all day if he were allowed! He is a gentle boy that loves a scratch behind the ears.

Ernie (ginger and white) is the more outgoing of the two. He is adventurous by day but loves to come in and hang out at night. He is the more shy of the pair, but he does warm up with time. Ernie loves to explore and watch the world going by perched high up. He loves playing with his brother Bert and once he warms up to his humans he enjoys playing with toys.

Both cats find toddlers a bit overwhelming and would prefer a home with children above middle primary school age.
