About Poppy
The beautiful Poppy is a very active girl that needs and active lifestyle. She has the foundations of good obedience training, but will need a family that will continue to building on those skills, as she still tends to jump up on people when excited and needs more work on her recall when there is lots of exciting things to distract her.
Poppy loves her football and will retrieve it for hours - so if you want to practice your footy kicking skills Poppy will be happy to help you out. If you want a jogging partner, or someone to be a part of your family participating in every element, then Poppy may be the girl for you.
Poppy is more comfortable with females but quickly develops trust with males once she knows them. We think she will always be more connected with females after having come from an all female household.
Poppy is house trained and is currently in foster care with a very active and "out there" kitten. Poppy and Tigger the kitten play for hours chasing each other. Poppy has also had some exposure to some lambs whilst in foster care.
If Poppy does not get the level of exercise she needs she can go and find her own fun and that at times can be destructive.
Poppy is not suitable for a home with small children due to her excited jumping.
Poppy is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to find that forever ACTIVE family that will meet her needs.
