About Monty DL1697
Monty is a super sweet older man looking for the most loving home. A pretty independent fella, Monty seems to have had a life very much to himself. He loves having a doggy friend around to guide him, but would be content to be your only dog if you are home a lot to keep him company.
Monty needs somewhere where he is able to roam around as he pleases; he is happy to snooze the day away. During the evening he likes to get up and stretch his legs, have a drink and a sniff then will move to another spot for the night. He especially enjoys curling up in your clothes, comforted by your scent.
Monty is low energy, he suits someone who is committed to his ongoing medical care and dietary needs. He loves a little scratch and a pat, and perhaps with time will start to come around to loving cuddles. Monty is friendly with children and hasn't been fully tested with cats.
If you are seeking a lap-dog, this man isn’t for you... but if you're looking for a companion to hang out and chat with, Monty would love to meet you.
Medical notes
Monty has mild arthritis in back legs and heart murmur so is only suited to very short walks. Ongoing eye ointment due to not having tear ducts. Monty has had many teeth removed so care must be taken of his remaining canine tooth.

FOSTER:
Dogs listed as "Foster Carer Needed", are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.
