Single Dog Home

Hi there my name is Leroy, I’m a very sweet very boy and have lived with little children, I walk well on the lead and take treats very gently. I will need to go to obedience school which will help me learn how to socialise plus much more :)
I have now had my temp test and have added some notes below.

Summary of Test –summary of observation and testing
• Leroy is a very sociable dog with humans – seeks contact and touch
• Generally a calm disposition but is able to become aroused/active with some coaxing
• Self regulates activity and arousal levels well
• Socially tolerant – tolerates touch and restraint, although he increases in arousal soon after
• Nil reaction to whistle and other sudden noise
• Very sensitive to raised, gruff voice – goes into a submissive position. He has obviously been yelled at
previously
• Knows to sit on cue, comes when called and walks well on lead.
• No food aggression evident. Takes food gently from hand
• Evidence of some dog aggression, more so if dogs come up close. Suggest exercise caution.
