About Brian
Brian is literally a big ball of love and affection. His favourite past-times include hugging, cuddling, snuggling and spooning... He wouldn't pass up the opportunity to snuggle in with his human family while they watch a movie, sit down for a cup of tea or just sit down at all really! He is absolutely gorgeous. Brian is great with kids and loves to have a play but is very much happy to then wander off and calmly potter around the house with mum or dad.
Despite him giving his last family all of his love, kindness and good manners they left him alone and confused at the pound. Thankfully he got himself a loving foster home just in time before the worst happened. Since that awful experience, he does have some fears of being abandoned again. His foster mum has been showing him just how loved and appreciated he can truely be and with time he is learning, but he will need some continued reassurance from his new forever family along the way that they will always come home to him.
Brian knows all of his basic obedience and is a very clever boy that is eager to please. He has been great with other dogs and would suit doggy friends that are able to play with him and his long legs!
Brian is looking for a home that is going to let him express his love and affection and then recipricate it right back to him! He isn't suited to the 9-5 life, he would love for someone to be at home more regularly than not so that he can enjoy the days with them. He can certainly keep himself occupied outside when needed, but 8 hours everyday reminds him too much of his lonely days in the pound. He is a very clean boy that is at his happiest when he's inside with his family 💙 Brian is located at Mountain Creek, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com
Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
