About Pete
PLEASE NOTE: PETE IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE
Woof! My name is Pete.
Yes I know, I am such a handsome fella! My staff and volunteers tell me all the time at Blue Cross Animals Society. I am a super friendly and affectionate young boy who hasn’t had the best start to life, so I am really looking forward to meeting my new forever family!
I am an ex racing greyhound that was found abandoned in bushland. As a result, I was malnourished and had flyblown ears and tail. It was really lonely out in the bush, and I am so thankful for the love that I have received at Blue Cross, however it’s time for me to move on from the shelter lifestyle, and move into the couch lifestyle! That’s all I want really, a family that will let me follow them around the house and let me sleep next to their feet whilst they catch up on reality TV!
I would prefer being the only dog, however with the right dog companion, I would be okay to share my humans. Due to my racing background, cats and small dogs are not suitable in being my house mates.
If you think you can be my new fur-ever family, then please come and say hello at Blue Cross Animals Society of Victoria.
