About Jordie ~ Pomeranian (On trial 13/9/2017)
Meet Jordie the Pomeranian! He is 3 years old and weighs 7.7kg. Jordie is an inside dog and his happiest place is on his foster mum's lap soaking up affection.
Jordie loves a short 20 minute walk, preferably twice a day. He is house trained and is accustomed to a doggy door. Jordie’s handsome coat requires brushing at least once a week. He requires regular grooming which he is familiar with.
Jordie is in foster care with a large dog and 4 adult humans. He is also familiar with cats. Jordie is a lovable, good natured little dog who requires the gentle touch of adult hands. Jordie is ill-suited to young children.
If you are at home most of the time, enjoy walking, long for the love of a lap dog and like the look of this handsome little Pom please contact Jordie’s foster carer Kathryn at krutiger@gmail.com. Jordie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jordie's adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
