About Ginger
**ginger is trialling his new home**
ginger is a real character – a lively boy with energy to burn! he is very playful and loves to run and play wrestling games with other dogs. He's great with kids and loves it when they engage him in a game of chasey, tug of war or ball throwing. Loves his walks and is good on the lead. He’s been fine living with a cat, and already knows how to use a doggy door. He's very smart. He knows how to sit at the curb when on the lead and crossing roads, and he also knows how to "heel" - which he thinks means "go!". He sticks by us when off the lead in a wide open space/in the countryside. He likes to keep an eye on the kids when playing in the creek - he runs across the rocks from one child to the other. Doesn't bother the ducks either. Ginger answers to his name brilliantly and is really smart. He sits, drops, rolls over, and shakes paws. He also knows lots of other things we say like "no" "outside" "get down" "off" "where is it?" etc. He watches me when i talk and cocks his head on one side - very cute! his coat is wiry and he is drip-dry after a bath. He has this soft fluffy hair on his head and doesn’t seem to shed much either. He’s a fun-loving boy looking for a home where he will get lots of stimulation – and because he is so intelligent, he would love his new family to continue his training and teach him lots of new things. And of course he would just love a doggy playmate!
