About Bradley
Bradley is desperately looking for a person to love and look after. This little man has an unknown background but initially it seemed he has come from a place where he had to constantly defend himself and he didn’t trust the world around him. Since coming into care, his beautiful nature has emerged, attaching himself to his carers and shadowing one or the other keenly. He just adores to be pat and brushed, and to sit outside in the garden for a ball throw and a cup of tea with you – don’t put your tea down though, he will finish it off for you. He loves to help out in the kitchen, making light work of any dropped morsel of food. He is a personal alarm system, alerting the house whenever someone is approaching - or if you have forgotten to take him with you into the yard! Bradley can be a grouchy old man when he’s asked to do things he doesn’t want to do, so we are hoping to find him a person who is very experienced with dogs and understands his occasional growls for the hot air that they are! He is wary of people that show signs of trepidation towards him, so he needs a confident leader for him to put his trust in. He has become very fit thanks to his foster sister dragging him on long bush walks, which has transformed his physique and his general energy. He now loves to go for a big walk once or twice a day. He is friendly with dogs and cats, so could be a new companion for a small to medium size dog or a dog-friendly cat. Bradley understands basic commands and is house-trained and must go to a home where he is permitted inside at all times and has access to outside for regular toilet trips.
Bradley is available for a meet and greet in the Blue Mountains or Penrith area.
