About Benny (D3661)
Benny is an absolute sweetie. Located in PERTH, he’s a lively, happy little fellow with an active nature and loves his daily walks. He pulls on the lead a bit though this is not a major issue as he is only 5.8kgs. He also likes to cock his leg on nearly every tree while on his walk! He plays and roughhouses happily with another small foster dog, the two of them often playing chasey around the back yard. And then later, he’ll be found curled up sleeping on the doggy bed with his foster brother - even though there are two beds :) They’re so cute! When one ventures outside through the doggy door, the other is usually not far behind.
Benny was quite timid when he arrived in foster care but within a day, that all changed. Now he asks to be picked up, will take as many pats as you can dish out and is quite a confident dog. So he doesn’t take long to bond with new people but can be a little anxious until he gets to know you. His new family will need to be patient while he settles in and will be rewarded with lots of love in return.
He travels well in the car, is housetrained and sleeps indoors (will happily snuggle up next to you on the couch if you let him). Not sure if he gets along with cats. Perhaps best not in a home with younger children due to his size. Benny is truly a delightful little dog. He would be ideal for a retired person/couple who would take him for daily walks and spend time with him or a household with another small doggy playmate.
