Buddy

Full of love and affection is bubbly Buddy. He is a small delight who loves people and is just waiting for your pats. At the mature age of 13 1/2 years, there will be no puppy messes to worry about!
As we age we get a few extra health concerns that we have to keep an eye on and Buddy is just like us. He does have the following conditions:
- Cataracts
- Normal in older dogs and not currently causing any issues.
- Luxating patella
- Very common in small dogs, currently doesn't require any treatment.
Buddy is also currently carrying a little extra baggage which needs to be addressed. He is not currently showing any sign of diseases that can be associated with extra weight, such as, Diabetes, Arthritis, Skin problems, and Heart Disease. But without a strict weight loss management plan, Buddy's health may rapidly decline.
With this said we strongly recommend that Buddy goes to an owner who is committed and willing to help get his weight back on track with the help and guidance of their veterinarian.
Not only will Buddy's life be enriched by losing weight but his life span will be extended giving many happy years ahead with her new owner. Due to his age and previous diet Buddy has had to have a dental during his stay at the shelter.
With his outgoing personality and zest for life Buddy is sure to brighten up any sized family home, and will make a very loyal and loving companion.
