Harrrro my name is Elroy and I just love my hoomans!

I'm a happy little vegemite as bright as bright can be. My foster carers think I'm pretty funny and super playful for an older dog but what's not to be happy about when you've been rescued from death row?

I'm not too fussed about being left alone while they go to work, it means I get uninterrupted naps! And don't worry I can hold my bladder until you get home. I like to go for a walk or have some playtime with my toys. I also don't mind going for a car drive, adventures are fun! I love toys soooo much, they make me feel safe. I even like holding onto my lead when I walk. I am pretty weird like that.

I'm a labrador so of course I love food. I can sit, drop, stay and go to my bed for treats but if we are outside on a walk my attention isn't so good. I just want to sniff every single plant and tree.

Other dogs and cats are a bit too scary for me so if you're looking for a dog to take on outings, to cafes or to play with other dogs then I'm probably not for you.

I really hope my new owner will do some confidence building training with me so that I'm not so nervous around other dogs.

Please please please won't you take a chance on little old me? I promise to give you lots of laughs, cuddles and face licks!
