About Boo ~ lovely Mastiff x puppy (On Trial 15/9/17)
Boo is a sweet 9 week old Mastiff x puppy. She is very loving and a complete snuggle-butt.
Since being with us, her confidence has grown immensely and she absolutely adores her foster brother Ned (3yo Bull Arab x Mastiff) and loves to tease and climb all over him. She also plays daily with her sister, Tinks. She loves to chase things around the house, but has a very sweet side. She’s such an adorable little pup, and will grow into a loving family member.
Boo came straight out of a country pound into our home with her sister, Tinks, and it’s been an absolute joy to watch this little girl’s confidence grow. She came to us quite underweight, and definitely loves her food. She is fed with her sister and foster brother and shows no sign of food aggression. Boo loves her food and responds well to food rewards so it easy to train. Boo is learning basic commands with my foster family, but will benefit from puppy preschool once in her new home - not just for obedience but for socializing and exercise too.
Boo will need to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will grow up to be a medium to large size dog. She will need a well-fenced yard with no gaps because, even though she will grow up to be big, she is small and inquisitive now. She loves being involved in our life, and would suit a family or couple who takes the time to play, train and give her as many snuggles as she can handle.
She has spent some time with young children (three and five years old) and plays well. She loves to play, but also loves to sleep and snuggle with her foster brother and parents. Although, not tested yet due to age, Boo will most likely love to get out and walk and/or run regularly when she is properly grown. Boo would definitely benefit from having a doggy friend to show her the ropes – though would also be fine on her own if someone is home most of the time.
Boo's siblings: Tinks, Loki, Karma, Daisy and Maisy are also available for adoption.
As Boo is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Boo, please email her foster carer Jesse at jes@rescueyourfitness.com.au. Boo is in care in Whitebridge, NSW (Newcastle area).
Boo's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
