Candelo

A pup as sweet as candy!

Candelo is an absolutely gorgeous pup who is ready to have lots of fun times with her new family. She is a very affectionate puppy who loves people and getting cuddles. Candelo is confident and happy to meet anyone, including children, and is even happier if she gets plenty of attention in return for her waggy tail and kisses. She also enjoys playtime and will play with any toy or stick on offer, and finds running through the play tunnel a blast! Candelo is a great snuggler when play time is over and it’s time for a nap. She enjoys curling up with her foster carer and other doggy friends on the couch at night time.

Candelo has been very well socialised while in care as she has met a wide range of other puppies and adult dogs. She gets along with every dog that she meets as long as they are not too rough with her as she finds that a bit scary. Candelo loves playing with the other puppies in care and is always up for a chasing game. She will be a relatively active girl who will require daily exercise and stimulation. Candelo will also benefit, like any puppy, from continued socialisation at doggy play dates or the dog park/beach.

During her time in care, Candelo has begun basic training. She can sit for a yummy treat and walks well on a lead. Candelo is good off lead and will follow her carer around. It is very important that her new family continue her training so that she gains all the skills she needs to be a good doggy member of society. She will benefit from puppy preschool and further training classes. Candelo is progressing with her toilet training and travels well in the car.

We are looking for a home where Candelo will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. She will require another friendly and playful dog for company and/or someone who is home most of the time to give her the attention and stimulation she thrives upon. Candelo should be allowed to come inside and be with the family and must have a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside. Daily exercise and playtime should make up part of each of her day, as well as regular training.
